Choices, choices…
- by Tim Nimmo
With the Federal election upon us again this weekend Australians are once again confronted with another key decision moment, one that will again shape the future of this country.
And life of course is all about choices, and the more important the decision, the more serious its consequences. So we’d recommend that you cast your vote, just as our current PM Malcolm Turnbull has been recommending, as though it was the vote that decides the election.
But this also bring us to another issue, how do you make the right decision? Making an informed decision is just not always easy, especially right before the election when television is filled with emotionally charged advertising denouncing the rival party and promising doom for Australia should they be elected. We honestly can’t help but wonder how much of politics today hinges on the emotional manipulation of the masses rather than an actual fair assessment of candidates and their actual policies.
If you’ve been reading our newsletters you would understand why we as property investors and buyers agents have a problem with this…. because we build our business on seeing through emotionalism and any other form of manipulation, to get the the bottom line. Because we know that a good investment property may not always be located in a neighbourhood that you would personally choose to live in, it may not even always look like a house that you’d even want to live in, as often happens with mortgagee property investments. But if the research reveals that its ‘bottom line’ is sound… then it will be a good investment and it will yield capital growth and help build your future financial well-being.
Also, it may not surprise you that the ‘bottom line’ of politics for us is primarily one that empowers every individual to freely take control of their financial future and destiny in a free market, with minimal government hindrances. And as such, our business is all about championing that ‘cause, for your benefit. So happy voting to all our readers and if you’d like to cut through the emotionalism and hype surrounding property investing, to build your wealth in this great free market that Australia is blessed with, then talk to us today.
