60 Minutes recently ran a story on the Australian property market. It’s an excellent glimpse at both the issues buyers are facing and the possible solutions being put forward by both builder/developers and the government.

As Buyers Agents we are well aware of the challenges facing first home buyers and we often recommend that our clients buy investment property in more affordable markets. The capital accumulated through an investment property can then be used as a down payment for property in a more expensive market, which is a tactic mentioned in the report.
